    • Water Ground Report
    • Product Testing report(s)

    • IEC Code in case FSSAI License is for Export / Import-(For State and Central License)

WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE TO GET FSSAI FOOD LICENSE?

Step by step process to obtain FSSAI License,

Step One :
For all login, purposes generate a unique user Id and password. 

Step Two: Once you successfully log in, click on apply for food license registration.

Step Three: Fill up the form that will appear next and submit it along with all the required documents.

Step Four: Once you submit the form, make sure to take a printout of the filled Application Form. After that, you need to send that print to the Regional Authority/State Authority. Note that the Form shall be sent within 15 days from the online date of an Application.

Step Five: If any query is raised, you need to reply to it within 15 days of the receipt.

Step Six:  You will receive the FSSAI Registration via mail, and the physical copy will be sent to you at the address you have provided.

However, it is necessary to display the FSSAI logo and license number and the name and address of the importer on the food product. In addition to it, one is also needed to get affixed before Customs Clearance.

What are the Forms and Registration fees for different FSSAI License Registration?

On the basis of the turnover of Food Business Operators (FBO), there are 3 types of Licenses. For each type of License, different Forms are filled as discussed below:

VALIDITY AND RENEWAL OF FSSAI LICENSE

You can apply the FSSAI License for the period you wish to, but the maximum period you can apply for is 5 years.
Application for renewal of a license shall be made at least 30 days before the expiry date.

WHAT ARE THE MODE OF PAYMENTS FOR FSSAI LICENSE REGISTRATION?

A specific fee is needed to be paid during the time of submission of the Online FSSAI Registration Application. The payment is to be made through the online mode of payment or by demand draft. 

New Update- E-Commerce Food Operators FSSAI Registration-2017

Since February 2017, FSSAI has mandated FSSAI License from Central Licensing Authority for E-commerce food operators. FSSAI operators are required to agree with the sellers/ manufacturers/ restaurants with whom they are operating. Such E-commerce food operators are expected to comply with the rules and regulations o FSSAI Act.
